What We Do

The Informatics and Computing Department aims at producing top notch scholars and practitioners to offer competitive leadership in all aspects of Informatics and Communication Technology and Geo-informatics for the national and international marketplace. We cultivate positive attitude towards computing and its dynamics in a view to produce graduates capable of adapting to the dynamic trends of global markets while upholding the Taita Taveta University’s core values, embraced within our academic programs. Our Mission is to produce leaders and professionals in computing, Geo-informatics for advancing science and entrepreneurship for enhancing socio-economic and sustainable development.
