Human Resource Department

The Human Resource Department sets the strategic direction that places Taita Taveta University Human Resources on a path toward the realization of the University’s Mission and Vision. The Department is responsible for ensuring the following objectives are achieved:

1. Recruiting, developing and retaining a world class Human Resource
2. Promoting quality work life balance for all employees
3. Ensuring the safety and wellness of University workers

The Department of Human Resources oversees the following functions in the University:

• University Central Registry
• Staff Performance and Appraisal
• Recruitment, Selection, Placement, Promotion and Discipline Management
• Staff Training and Development
• Employee Benefits Administration
• Pension Management

The Department is currently being run by a team headed by Mr. Chrisantose Odhiambo Ogony.
