The Taita Taveta University Retirement Benefit Scheme board organized for a one-day members sensitization workshop with the fund manager and fund administrators.
The Taita Taveta University Retirement Scheme Fund Manager Kenya Alliance Insurance represented by Mr. Godfrey Simboni, Ms.Jackline Gituku and Mr. Charles Mureithi, presented to members on the various products that they are entitled to in the scheme which includes; Hospital cash refund of ksh.2,500 per day for a minimum of 14 days per year on hospital admissions, Free members wellness training, Free Legal Services on access of retirement benefits, Discounted Insurances services under general business class and Gratuity management.
The fund administrator Liaison Financial Services represented by Mr. Dan Ngobiro and Ms. Mau Peter presented on data collection and storage of biodata, personal statement and operation of pension portal.
The members were taken through the process of operating the members portal to update and verify their data and structure of the personal statement. The team is also offered support to members to update their records and offered support on portal operation.
