On the Passing of Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, EGH
On behalf of the Taita Taveta University community, I wish to convey our deepest condolences to the family of the late Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, the people of Kenya, and all those who mourn this monumental loss.
Rt. Hon. Odinga was not only a towering statesman but also a steadfast champion of democracy, justice, and national unity. His lifelong dedication to public service and sacrifice for the freedom and dignity of all Kenyans have left an indelible mark on our nation’s history. He inspired generations to believe in the power of education, dialogue, and principled leadership as tools for transformation.
TTU celebrate his enduring legacy as a visionary leader who valued knowledge, equity, and the empowerment of youth. His courage and commitment to building a just, inclusive, and prosperous Kenya will continue to guide and inspire future leaders.
At this moment of national grief, we stand in solidarity with his family and with all Kenyans in prayer and reflection.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
