What We Do
The Procurement Department is responsible for the acquisition of goods, works, and services for the university in compliance with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act and university policies.
- Maintain a list of prequalified bidders
- Prepare, publish and distribute procurement & disposal opportunities
- Coordinate evaluation of tenders, quotations and request for proposals
- Issue bid documents to tenders
- Conduct periodic and annual stock taking
History of the Department
The department was established in 2011 when the college was a campus. The department currently has 5 members of staff, who are highly skilled and motivated in procurement and supply chain activities.
