About QMS

Taita Taveta University is committed to offer quality services through teaching, research and development; providing timely and efficient support services to develop and maintain high levels in research and academic excellence, by training practice oriented manpower, who can contribute effectively to social, intellectual and academic development in the community, the nation and the community of nations.

The University is committed to effectively communicate with its internal and external customers, to continually improve its services, products, processes and the work environment to ensure delivery of highest quality services in compliance with the constitution, statutory and other regulatory requirements and international standards and best practices.

In order to realize this commitment the University Management will monitor and review its quality performance from time to time through implementation of an efficient and effective quality management system based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard. A team to coordinate the realization of the service provision through an effective quality management system based on ISO 9001:2015 was set up comprised of the following individuals:
