What We Do

The Public Relations & Marketing Office has the sole mandate of maintaining the University’s corporate image to public. The key components of the Office include: corporate branding, corporate responsibility, corporate reputation, crisis communication, investors relations, public relations, spokesperson profiling, corporate marketing of University programs and brand, managing the University website and online media, corporate publications, and managing communication with a range of audiences including the Community, Government, Media, Employees and Investors using our wide range of communication.

Our approach: – We’re focused on responsible business, diversity and inclusion, community engagement, and environmental stewardship.
Our performance: – We create value through a broad range of programmes across the world.The other responsibilities of the corporate affairs department include researching on communication needs of the University, addressing attitudes, determining shifts in attitudes, recommending policies and initiatives and then measuring the effectiveness of these initiatives to ensure all aspect of progress is achieved in the University.

History

The Public Relations Office was established in 2013 with only one staff but the years the department has grown to accommodate new staff and interns who actively participate in the growth of the University. Currently, the department is managed by qualified staff with wide range of experience in communication, Marketing, ICT and International Relations. We progressively provide an integrative communication structure linking stakeholders to Taita Taveta University.
