Dr. Justin Kambale Maghanga holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry (University of Eldoret), MPhl in Analytical chemistry (Moi University) and B.sc in Chemistry (Moi University). He is currently the Dean of the School of Science and informatics. Dr. Maghanga has over 15 years’ experience in the field of Analytical Environmental Chemistry with specialized skills in Environmental Surveys, Sampling, and Instrumental Analysis. He has a passion in Water and Wastewater Treatment Technologies, Soil Chemistry and Atmospheric Pollution studies.
Dr. Maghanga has vast Industrial experience having previously worked in the fields of; refractories, steel production, paint formulations and tea quality control. He also worked in the University of Eldoret and Pwani University as a Lecturer in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry. Dr. Maghanga is also a practicing Environmental Management Consultant, registered and Licensed by NEMA as a Lead Expert in EIA/EA.
Dr. Maghanga who has professional membership with the Environmental Institute of Kenya, Chemical Society of Kenya and Pan African Chemical Society has accomplished several consultancy and professional reports in the field of Environmental Impact Assessment for a number of organizations in Coast, Western and Rift Valley regions. He has successfully and continues to supervise several graduate students in the fields of Chemistry and Environmental Sciences. He has attended several conferences and published widely in refereed journals. Dr. Maghanga has won several University and National Grants; currently he is a co-PI in a Kenya-South Africa Project focusing on PAHs in renewable and non-renewable energy sources in Kenya.

What We Do
We provide guidance on course selection, admission, dissemination of exams up to certification. We also oversee Planning of Programmes as well as provide research, and quality assurance secretariat services.
